The Google Pixel 2 XL – In Depth Review
The Pixel 2 XL is the larger version of Google’s flagship smartphone, the Google Pixel 2.
Pixel 2 XL features a vibrant 6-inch P-OLED display with 2,880 x 1,440 p resolution, a spec that lends brilliantly to virtual reality games applications enjoyed via the Google Daydream View headset.
The Pixel 2 XL has joined the bezel-less party alongside the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG V30 and LG G6, though it’s not nearly as borderless as the iPhone X or Essential Phone. Also, it’s 18:9 aspect ratio is another new introduction that has been followed by OEMs this year.
It has a totally revamped look with a two-tone metal and glass build with IP67 certification to make it dust and water resistant. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is dead, and there’s HTC’s new squeeze feature on both the Pixel phones this time. It will be available in “Just Black”, a melding of black aluminum with charcoal colored glass, or “Black & White”.
The Google Pixel 2 XL features the Snapdragon 835 with 4GB RAM and Android O. There is a 3,520mAh battery powering the Pixel 2 XL.
The rear-facing camera, which is nearly the same size as the fingerprint reader, contains a 12 MP f/1.8 aperture. On the front, there’s an 8 MP camera that is said to be a major overhaul over last year’s(Pixel XL) camera.
The Pixel 2 XL starting price at Rs 73,000 for 64GB and the 128GB model is priced at Rs 82,000.
Pre-orders commence on 26th October 2017, and Pixel 2 will be available for sales in over 1000+ stores across the country and online starting November 1st and Pixel 2 XL will be available for sales in 1000+ stores and online starting November 15th, 2017.
