OnePlus Nord Gray Ash Edition and OnePlus Buds Z launched in India. OnePlus launched its latest flagship, the OnePlus 8T, at an event today. While the phone was definitely the show stopper at the launch event, the company also announced a new special edition of the OnePlus Nord and all-new OnePlus Buds Z along with it.

The two come as really interesting devices and while the company didn’t spend much time talking about them, they will most likely end up being of great interest to buyers.

OnePlus Nord Gray Ash – Specifications, Price, and Features

OnePlus also launched a new special edition color variant of the OnePlus Nord at the event. At today’s launch, the company announced a new Nord Gray Ash variant of the OnePlus Nord which till now was available in two colors — Blue Marble and Gray Onyx. To add to this list, the company has now unveiled this new special edition of the OnePlus Nord in a new colorway: Gray Ash. OnePlus explains that Gray Ash “combines a raw, industrial vibe with an elegant matte texture, elevating the Nord aesthetic and reaffirming OnePlus’s mission for uncompromising design.”

As mentioned, the OnePlus Nord Gray Ash version comes with the same specifications as other color variants. It runs on Android 10-based Oxygen OS 10.5 and features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with up to 12GB RAM. On the storage front, the OnePlus Nord has up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage that doesn’t support expansion via a microSD card.

OnePlus Nord packs a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 5-megapixel depth shooter. The OnePlus Nord has a dual selfie camera setup at the front. This setup comprises a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor.

There is a 4,115mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging technology on the OnePlus Nord. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

This special edition will be available in an early access sale for Amazon Prime members on October 16 on and on October 17 for all users across all offline and online channels at a price of Rs 29,999.

OnePlus Buds Z – Price, Specifications, and Features

The OnePlus Buds Z are the company’s new true wireless in-ear headphones that come flaunting not only a new design but also 10mm dynamic drivers for powerful audio. The OnePLus Buds Z comes with a dynamic 3D stereo powered by Dolby Atmos for an immersive experience. The Buds Z offer 20 hours of playback time, while a quick 10-minute top-up provides three hours of audio.

Available in White and Gray, the OnePlus Buds Z feature a polished seashell pattern and comes with three sizes of silicone ear tips to ensure a snug, stable and comfortable fit. The OnePlus Buds Z includes Bluetooth 5.0, environmental noise reduction for voice pickup, and Quick Pair to deliver exceptional sound when taking a conference call, watching a movie, or simply enjoying music on the go. The OnePlus Buds Z also offers an IP55 rating for sweat and water resistance.

The OnePlus Buds Z will be priced at Rs 3,190 and will be available on pre-booking starting October 15. The OnePlus Buds Z will be available for pre-booking at a special price of Rs 2,990 via the one and OnePlus Store app. The OnePlus Buds Z will be available across all online and offline channels starting on 2nd November 2020.
