OnePlus 7 Pro released a new teaser through its social media channels that showcase the presence of a triple rear camera set up on the new flagship. This is the first time the company plans to launch two models; OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro simultaneously. The latest teaser video that has been posted on Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms through the official OnePlus accounts explicitly shows a sketch suggesting a triple rear camera setup.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is tipped to come with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The second camera will have an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. This camera will come with an f/2.4 aperture lens. The third camera will be a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle unit with an f/2.2 aperture lens that would offer a 117-degree field of view. The setup is quite similar to what we have seen so far with other Samsung and Huawei flagship smartphones with triple cameras this year.
The smartphone could be coming with the Snapdragon 855 chipset and could come with up to 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and 8GB/12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage. Similar to the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, the OnePlus 7 Pro could feature the faster 30W Warp Charge feature. The sliding front camera will help OnePlus offer a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) resolution & 90Hz refresh rate – which would be the first time the company has offered a panel above Full HD. The OnePlus 7 Pro an A+ display rating in its lab tests, making the upcoming phone’s screen one of the best in the market.
