India vs New Zealand (IND vs NZ) Nottingham Weather Forecast

India vs New Zealand (IND vs NZ) Nottingham Weather Forecast. India takes on New Zealand in an important game at Trent Bridge on Thursday. Both New Zealand and India are unbeaten so far in the 2019 Cricket World Cup. India will present New Zealand their stiffest challenge in the World Cup so far and it should be a cracker of a game.

However, both teams will keep an eye on the weather in Nottingham where the threat of rain looms large. The practice session was washed on Tuesday but the teams could manage to train for an hour on Wednesday after which the rain returned.

India is on a roll after their victories over South Africa and Australia. New Zealand has so far defeated Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Neither team, therefore, would be keen to share points. 3 matches have already been washed out due to rain and teams would want to get as many points as they can muster in the first half of the tournament.

New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson said his team was determined to get the full 2 points against India.

“It’s the World Cup. We’re playing against India in the World Cup and it is an opportunity to get two points and we don’t want to get rained-out games,” he said.

“I don’t think any players do but if that happens then so be it. We can not control that but we are looking forward to playing India and getting some confidence against them.”
