It may be recalled that the PUBG Mobile app was among the 118 Chinese apps that were banned by the Indian government in September 2019 over national security concerns. In order to get the ban lifted, PUBG Corporation decided to no longer authorize the PUBG Mobile franchise to Tencent Games, which is based in China.
Recently, PUBG Mobile Director James Yang had released a video message in which he provided a detailed roadmap about PUBG Mobile Esports plans for this year.
It is to be noted that PUBG Corporation has repeatedly asserted that it was committed to keeping the data security of all Indian players. Reports claim that PUBG Mobile India will come loaded with some major changes to the UI. The matches will take place in a virtual simulation training ground setting. The characters in PUBG Mobile India will be clothed from the beginning. Some reports claim that PUBG Mobile India will have green hit effects instead of red.
