Reliance JioPhone 2 Smart Feature Phone Announced: Price, Full Specifications
What looks like an old BlackBerry device, the JioPhone 2 will house a QWERTY keypad and a four-way navigation key. It will support dual SIM cards and comes with 4GB ROM, 512MB RAM along with expandable storage up to 128 GB. JioPhone 2 will operate on KaiOS and will have a display of 2.4QVGA. It will also have the 2-megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing camera, as per reports. JioPhone 2 supports dual SIM, LTE along with connectivity such as FM, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi. It also has popular applications such as YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook. These apps will operate on voice commands as well, which means users can play video with their voice.
For connectivity, The JioPhone 2 will support VoLTE as well as Jio’s rumored (now confirmed) VoWiFi service which will allow users to make phone calls using any public Wi-Fi. The phone also supports NFC, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth Low Energy and will have an FM Radio built-in.

Pricing and Availability of JioPhone 2
The JioPhone 2 comes with an introductory price of Rs. 2,999 and will be available soon across all Jio stores and other retail and e-commerce stores.
The company hasn’t revealed any details regarding the recharge plans for the new JioPhone, assuming it is the same as when you buy the JioPhone.

Reliance JioPhone2: Monsoon Offer Details
At the AGM, Reliance acknowledged that India has 500 million feature phone users and that the JioPhone currently reached 25 Million feature phone customers. To increase its footprint in the feature phone community, and make a record of reaching 100 million users the fastest, Jio has introduced a new JioPhone Monsoon Hungama Offer.
While the JioPhone will continue to be effectively priced at Rs 1,500, starting July 21, Jio will allow any feature phone user to exchange their existing phone for a new JioPhone at a price of Rs 501. “We have thus reduced the effective entry cost of the JioPhone from Rs 1500 to as low as Rs 501,” said the Reliance Chairman.
