The West Bengal Sneher Paras App will provide ₹1000 monetary help to laborers from the state that have been stuck away from home. The Chief Minister of WB, Mamta Banerjee released this Corona Help App to ensure that the laborers receive the most required monetary help during this lockdown as they cannot earn wages. One can download this WB assistance app from the official site of the state government. This scheme was launched by the state on April 20, 2020. However, to avail of the benefits of the scheme, the workers need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. The process is simple and easy.
Sneher Paras Scheme Eligibility Criteria
Any worker of the State, who is stranded in other parts of the country due to lockdown since 24.3.2020 because of the outbreak of Corona Virus (COVID-19), will be eligible for the assistance on fulfillment of following conditions:
- The worker is a resident of West Bengal.
- The worker is stranded in other parts of the country and is not able to come back to the State due to suspension of transportation and restrictions imposed on inter-state Such workers shall apply for assistance.
- The applicant has provided details of either or Khadyasathi Number or EPIC Number or Aadhaar Number to prove that he is a resident of West Bengal.
- District Magistrate/Commissioner, KMC is satisfied that the applicant is actually stranded due to outbreak of Corona Virus (COVID-19) and is a resident of West

- Download & Install the Sneher Parosh Application
Once you have downloaded the application on your mobile phone, you have to install it.
- Choose the Preferred Language
After installing the application, to proceed further, you have to choose the preferred language.
- Enter Your Mobile No.
Now, you have to enter your mobile number and verify it by the OTP generated.
- Read Instructions Carefully
Now, read all the instructions and click on the “Apply Now” tab.
- Choose Verification Mode
Now, you have to select the mode of verification from the three options available viz- Aadhaar card, Voter card, and Digital Ration Card. Click on the “Select & Proceed” button.
- Fill Personal Details
The registration form will appear. You have to fill your personal information, resident information, and click on “Save & Proceed”.
- Enter your Bank or UPI Details
On this page, you have to fill your Bank details. You have to select among NEFT or UPI option and have to provide details accordingly. After filling details properly, hit “Save & Proceed”.
- Submit Verification Details
Now, fill the voter details and upload the verification document as per your preference in the space provided and proceed further. Make sure that the document is clear and visible.
- Review & Submit your Details
Now, the complete application form will appear, check all the details filled and make a correction is necessary. After review submits the application.
